Institute Profile

Mongolia's National Center for Public Health was founded in 1968, with a mission to "expand evidence-based policy-making and decision-making support to provide technical guidance and bolster human resource capacity in order to increase the access to and quality of health care by social services." 

The center's work focuses on the following sectors:

  1. Environment, occupational health and research 
  2. Venom toxicity studies 
  3. Nutrition Research sector
  4. Health promotion and behavioral research 
  5. Human genetics, health and research 
  6. Biotechnology and Molecular Biology
