Institute Profile

KCDC focuses on infectious disease work especially in Al, TB and wants to expand to monitoring and evaluating and also focuses on developing and implementation of hypertension and diabetes clinical practice guideline for primary health. 

With a staff of nearly 650 employees, KDCD focuses on Communicable diseases. In 2013 KCDC successfully implemented vaccination campaign during Pandemic Influenza in 2009 and through national vaccination program, prevalence of Measles, Cholera is under 1 person per million
