Does your NPHI have an innovative idea or sustainable solution to existing health challenges for pregnant women and newborns? If so, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, a longtime partner in IANPHI's work, invites you to apply now for the Global Health Grand Challenge: Saving Lives at Birth. With a special focus on integrating technology, service delivery, and increasing demand for pre-natal services, this grand challenge seeks "groundbreaking prevention and treatment approaches for pregnant women and newborns in poor, hard-to-reach communities around the time of delivery."

To date, over 90 Global Health Grand Challenges have been awarded, to 12 countries. The video below provides additional information on the Saving Lives at Birth Grand Challenge.
