U.S. CDC Partnership to build capacity in West Africa

The U.S. CDC has partnered with Emory University's Rollins School of Public Health to implement a new global health security program: The African Centre of Excellence for Public Health Security. The program seeks to "improve preparedness and response to health threats in low-income countries will work to expand public health capacity in West Africa," in partnership with existing with support from IANPHI, the African Society for Laboratory Medicine, and others.
