Ebola and National Public Health Institute News

On December 29, 2015, Guinea's final Ebola patient tested negative for the virus a second time, and the country was decalred Ebola-free. IANPHI extends a heartfelt congratulations to Guinea and its public health leadership at the Guinea National Institute of Public Health. IANPHI, as well as many of our member institutes and partners, including Public Health England, China CDC, the US CDC, the World Health Organization and others, have supported INS' efforts, and applaud them for this monumental achievement.
