N. Charles Hamilton

N. Charles Hamilton is an intern employed with the IANPHI Secretariat at Santé Publique France. He is a double Master’s of Public Health Degree candidate in the Erasmus Mundus Europubhealth+ Program (2017-2019) and has a bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Sciences.

His specific public health interests include: Climate Change and Health, Universal Health Coverage, Island Health Systems, Commercial Determinants of Health, and Risk, Crisis and Health Communication.

Charles has been engaged in high-level Public Health, Policy and Communication strategies in the Caribbean, North America and the United Kingdom, having worked for the Pan American Health Organization/World Health Organization (PAHO/WHO), The Office of the Prime Minister of the Commonwealth of The Bahamas (National Health Insurance Secretariat), public affairs firm (FleishmanHillard) and The University of Sheffield.

In his free time he enjoys reading, baking pies, bread and other pastries, traveling and playing the piano.
